I just finished watching Modern Family.
For about five years, it’s been a constant part of our routine when my wife and I have lunch together at home. The last time we watched the show, Season 11—the final season—wasn’t available in France, so we rewatched the entire series. Now, we’ve finally completed Season 11. It was an emotional moment, both on screen and in our living room.
I’m not sure why it’s not more popular among our friends, but for me, it’s definitely in my hall of fame. 🍿

I struggle with being assertive enough. That said, there’s a fine line between being assertive and being an asshole, and many people cross it. This makes it harder to want to be more assertive. 🧘
I started drawing things from a drawing book with my kids. It’s really fun. And i still have it. Sort off. 😂
I just finished watching Bad Monkey on Apple TV+. It was really good and I highly recommend it.
Some notes:
- The showrunner, Bill Lawrence, who was also behind Ted Lasso and Shrinking delivered again. The Ringer has a piece about him;
- Eve Stripling is easily one of the most compelling villains I’ve seen in a while;
- The soundtrack is spot-on and adds so much to the vibe;
- The “good guys” are all super charming and relatable;
- It’s based on a novel by Carl Hiaasen, and it feels like it shares the same DNA as the works of Laurent Chalumeau — both clearly influenced by the legendary Elmore Leonard.

Naming things is quite famously one of the hardest problems in software development.
When you realize there is a better name for something, it’s important to rename it, even if it’s tricky. Clear, accurate names improve the developer experience, while bad names make maintenance harder, slower, and riskier. Leaving sub-optimal names in a codebase is technical debt. 💻
A simple workflow for translation keys typed with TypeScript
Since my web projects use typed translation keys, my work in progress would typically add unwanted TypeScript errors every time I added a new translation key, and that would annoy me a lot.
So I wrote a little script that watches a temporary JSON translation file (as used by Lokalise) and merges it into all the translation files of the languages that are supported every time it changes.
This way, once I am done with a feature, I can upload the new keys all at once in Lokalise’s upload tool. 💻
