Finished reading: The Proof of My Innocence by Jonathan Coe. The book consists of three genre segments: cozy crime, dark academia, and (meta)autofiction. The whodunit is engaging; a left-wing blogger is murdered during a conservative conference. I couldn’t stop reading once all the suspects were introduced.

A quote I liked:

Not all truths are equal, however sincerely believed.

Random other ingredients: Friends (the TV show), the death of Elizabeth II, and the brief period when Liz Truss served as Prime Minister.
