Finished watching White Lotus S3. The finale did not match the really high expectations we had from watching these reactions on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, but it was still pretty solid. I had a good share of laughs and of Schadenfreude satisfaction with this show.

Fun facts about the cast:

  • Kate (Leslie Bibb) and Frank (Sam Rockwell) are married in real life;
  • Timothy (Jason Isaacs) is Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies. Of course!;
  • Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger) is Arnold’s son;
  • The show was written by Mike White, who is Jack Black’s friend in School of Rock, which he wrote, as well as the hidden gem Nacho Libre. He also wrote Migration, which I highly recommend1.
